Chalet Tintin

Chalet Tintin offers the much sought after combination of proximity to piste, quality of accommodation and good service. A modern and comfortable property, it directly faces the Le Pleney piste from it's position uphill and to the South. This gives you all of Morzine at a short walk, and the lifts to start your day just a short shuffle away from your comfortable bed.

The main floor of Chalet Tintin is delightly open-plan. The dining room at the far end has a generous table for the chalet size, and the lounge area is divided into two main areas. The area to the rear of the room has a large flat-screen TV well serviced with SKY UK channels, and a comfortable array of seating around it. The log fire dominates the room to the front, which also has the staffed bar, open until 23h00 for after dinner drinks.

There is also a children's play room with TV, DVD player, playstation games console and board games to keep them occupied.

Well-appointed rooms

Chalet Tintin has 10 bedrooms spread over the 3 floors of the property. There are a variety of room styles, including larger family rooms with multiple bed arrangements in them, and more normal sized twin and double rooms. All the rooms have private en suite, and are well serviced for storage space. Most of the rooms have outdoor access of some kind, such as a terrace or balcony.

7-days Fine Dining

Chalet Tintin offers half-board to guests. Your day begins with a cooked and continental breakfast, featuring the constant presence of cereals, yoghurts and fruits, and with a different cooked item each day. After you return from the slopes, an après ski repast of home-made cakes will be served. The evening meal is four courses of mixed international flavours, prepared by your fully qualified chef and served with wine.

Please note - the evening meal is served all 7 days in Chalet Tintin, there is no staff day off. One night per week, the meal is a traditional Savoyarde Pierrade.

Out the door and on your way

Chalet Tintin is located on one of the side roads immediately around the Le Pleney lifts. You can ski to the Le Pleney cable lifts from the piste immediately across the road from the Chalet. Just a few metres from the end of the road is the Piou Piou kids ski-club, making this location even more ideal for families with children. If you prefer to start your day at another piste, a free shuttle-bus is provided by the operator.

Chalet Tintin is just 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva airport. Transfers to and from the airport are not included in the price, but can be happily arranged by the operator.

Chalet Tintin changes over on Sundays during season.
