Chalet Peillex

Available now is this large and modern chalet in Bas Thex, adjacent the Portes-du-Soleil. This chalet has the capacity to accommodate large mixed groups of families, without everyone getting in each other's way! With three areas in the evenings to relax, comprising a traditional log-fire lounge room, a children's mezzanine area and a separate games room with pool-table and TV, this is the accommodation to choose to ensure that everyone has the holiday they're looking for.

Plenty of space

The main entertainment area in the evening is the open-plan lounge-dining-kitchen. Stretching across a large double-height space from the log fire to the modern kitchen, this big room is very social, with everyone always within conversational distance of each other. The main dining area can happily seat more than the capacity of the chalet. Above the main area is a mezzanine, which could be utilised by children for games or play-area. Downstairs, there is a full sized games room with pool table, a large television and DVD player, perfect for sequestering the children.

Accommodating

Chalet Peillex has five en suite bedrooms, and an additional area above the lounge which could be made up with extra beds for children, or particularly large groups. The bedrooms have a variety of bath and shower en suites, and two have access to the outside via french doors.

Self-catering or Chef to Chalet

Chalet Peillex is sold as self-catering. The kitchen is very modern and has all the equipment and plates, pots and pans you could need. Alternatively, a Chef-to-Chalet delivered catering service can be happily organised for you, ask for more details and sample menus.

Proximity to the Portes-du-Soleil

Chalet Peillex is located on the main road into the hamlet of Bas Thex, directly adjacent Saint-Jean-d'Aulps. People who stay here generally ski at either the Grande Terche lift directly across the valley from Bas Thex, or one of the many ski lifts of nearby Morzine. The Grande Terche/Roc d'Enfer ski area has a selection of mid-skill level runs, and is not to be missed, especially as it's so close. Morzine is a thriving ski-hub enjoying more and more popularity each season. Morzine's closest lift is the Ardent Telecabine, and this is approximately a 15 minute drive. With quick access via Telecabin from Morzine to Avoriaz, you can access the Portes-du-Soleil with it's 650km of piste and great off-piste. You can also easily access the Nyon and Le Pleney ski lifts leading over to the Les Gets resort area.
