Chalet Martinet

There is only so much land around the bottom of a ski-piste, which is why accommodation close to piste is so highly sought after! When the Les Gets resort opened the new Perrieres high-speed chair lift, this chalet and it's sister were built to take advantage of the new starting point. They have flexible, comfortable accommodation and offer all the features you would expect from a traditional catered chalet holiday.

The main open area of the chalet extends from the kitchen and dining space to the large lounge focused on the traditional centre of the log fire. The couches are locally made traditional wood, adding the charm. At night, the pistes immediately facing the chalet are lit, and you can enjoy the view of the piste, day or night. The chalet shares an outdoor hot-tub with it's sister chalet Chalet Alouette, and has it's own sauna. The two are regularly sold as a unit together, to accommodate larger groups.

Flexible Accommodation

Chalet Martinet has four bedrooms in total, two on the upper and two on the ground level. The ground level bedrooms contain solid twin beds, and the upstairs bedrooms have three single beds. For flexibility of preference, the downstairs rooms are shower en suite, while the upstairs rooms have full size baths.

Quality Food is Important

The chalet is sold as half-board. Your day begins with a hearty breakfast of cold and continental choices such as fruit, cereals, pastries and yoghurts, supplemented every day with a different cooked special such as pancakes, Eggs Benedict or other dishes. After your return to the chalet, you will be greeted with a freshly baked cake and other nibbles to tide you over until the dinner. Dinner is three courses served with good quality house wine, followed by a local cheese board. Special dietary requirements are happily accommodated, and children's meals are tailored to individual family needs but are always healthy and home-made.

Proximity to Piste and Transport Links

The chalet is located at the Perrieres end of Les Gets immediately adjacent the new Les Perrieres lifts. The distance between chalet and lift is approximately 300m, and can be walked easily within 3-4 minutes from the chalet door.

The chalet is located in Les Gets, this is just under 1 hour from Geneva airport by road. Transfers can be happily organised by the operator.

The chalet changes over on Sundays during season, but may be available for short-break on request for low-season weeks.
