Chalet Marmottes
River-side tranquility with fire-side warmth in this lovely ski Chalet available all year, near the busy ski resort of Morzine.
Divided into a 10-person 5 bedroom Chalet and a 4-person 2 bedroom apartment, both have a lovely warmth to them.
The chalet itself is situated on the River Dranse with numerous balconies to enjoy the view and an outdoor area on the river to enjoy the bright sunny days.
Come home from your ski and sun bake by the river!
With two beautiful self-catering apartments on offer and close proximity to the lovely village of St.Jean d'Aulps, Chalet Marmotte is available for week long holidays or shorter stays.

We picked up this lovely riverside Chalet mid-season 2007/8, to give us availability back for weeks we've already filled up. It's a lovely warm chalet inside, and as self-catered is a very good choice for people who drive.

Chalet Marmottes is a beautiful river-side property nestling beside the River Dranse in the village of St.Jean d'Aulps. Divided into two apartments, it has been loving restored by it's owners. The bedrooms feature a combination of traditional Savoyarde worksmanship and modern luxurious touches like crisp white linen and new towels. Both apartments have roaring log fires to sit around in the evening and fully equipped kitchens.
Both apartments have been kitted with entertainment equipment such as DVD players, CD players, TV and Wifi Internet access.
Chalet Marmottes is the main part of the Chalet and has 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms. The bedrooms in the converted roof-space are particularly unique with quirky layout and ensuite bathrooms. One of these faces the river so you can wake up to the sound of rushing water, while the other has beautiful views straight up the mountain.
Apartment Marmottes has 2 double bedrooms and a mezzanine area which can be used for single beds or children. It also has two decent sized family bathrooms with bath, shower and sinks.
Chalet Marmottes is located 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva Airport where there are many rental car companies. Alternatively we can organise private transfers for guests. Staying at this chalet, we recommend that you have your own car.
Chalet Marmottes changes over the accommodation on Saturdays, but is available for shorter breaks at pro-rata prices.

5 bedrooms with a variety of beds in them. There are 2 large eaves conversion bedrooms with unique arrangements and ensuites. There are two more traditional downstairs bedrooms with two bathrooms to service them, and there is a single double bedroom on the main floor. The downstairs bedrooms have two large and spacious bathrooms. The bedroom on the middle floor has an ensuite with shower, and the loft bedrooms have quirky ensuites under eaves.
Kitchen facilities are provided and there is a large (10-12 aisle) supermarket nearby for all your supplies. The Kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, 4 hobs and a dishwasher.
Marmottes Apartment
2 Bedroom, Mezzanine option | 2 Full Bathrooms

2 double bedrooms are made up in the Chalet, however there is a large mezzanine area that could be made up with extra beds for children of overflow if necessary. There are two full sized bathrooms with bath, shower, toilet and sink. Both have lovely fittings and fixtures.
Kitchen facilities are provided and there is a large (10-12 aisle) supermarket nearby for all your supplies. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, hobs, dishwasher, fridge and freezer and microwave.
