Chalet Lisborg
Finished in 2007 and now available for your winter ski holiday is Chalet Lisborg, a beautifully finished ski chalet in Le Biot, a short drive from the popular ski resort of Morzine.
Two separate apartments are available, both are lit by a log fires, and with wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces that have been furnished and equipped to a very high standard.
This includes electronic entertainments, and a brand new hot tub and sauna.
Each apartment has four bedrooms and sleeps 8-12 people.
Taken as a whole, the chalet can comfortably accommodate groups of up to 24.
With two beautiful self-catering apartments on offer and the flexibility of two separate apartments, this Chalet is available now for self-catering rental in Le Biot.
Chalet Lisborg enjoys a beautiful and tranquil location in the traditional French hamlet of Le Biot.
Facing downhill, this large property enjoys plenty of sunlight and an undisturbed view across the valley, which you can enjoy from either apartment.
This chalet would be the choice of someone who wanted to ensure that the accommodation and fittings were of an excellent standard, and who wanted to be slightly removed from the bustle and noise of the nearby resort of Morzine.
Attenton to detail is evident in every feature of this chalet.
For example, there are five separate hot-water tanks, individually piped to areas of the house so that regardless of the occupancy, there will always be a plentiful supply of hot water.
Further, the central heating is individually zoned rather than chalet-wide, so that each room can be adjusted to the individual temperature preferred by the occupant.
There are also two separate drying cupboards and a full size secure ski room, and plenty of hooks and hangers.
The beds are also both quality and comfortable, and are positioned with room to move.
The electronics equipment is both good quality and in ample supply, to ensure that you have something to entertain your idle mind as your body recovers from the great skiing nearby.
For accommodation, there are two apartments of four bedrooms each.
The upper two floors comprise Apartment Montreuil, which is available separately as a 4-bedroom apartment.
It has a large and beautifully appointed common area, with many electronic entertainments.
The whole of the common area has a wrap-around balcony with two separate sections where you can eat outside, should you wish.
The terrace also has a second door onto the hot-tub and sauna area.

The lower floor is available separately as Apartment Arras.
The common areas and bedrooms of Apartment Arras have access to the lovely deck overlooking a large empty field suitable for toboganning, with wonderful views of the other side of the valley.
The two apartments share access to the garage and ski room, which is where the hot-tub and sauna are located.
There are separate entrances, but there are two lockable adjoining doors.
Taken together as a whole chalet, there is a significant discount in the price.
Chalet Lisborg is sold as self-catering.
Half-way between Morzine and the Chalet by car is a large (10-12 aisle) supermarket for all your grocery needs.
Morzine itself boasts a wealth of excellent restaurants for you to sample Savoyarde fare, and the villages nearby have a few restaurants each, offering you more choices closer to the chalet itself.
Alternatively, a Chef-to-Chalet delivered catering service can be happily organised for you, ask for more details and sample menus.
Chalet Lisborg is located on the quiet main road of Le Biot.
The most convenient accessible lift is Ardent/Les Lindarets which is 15 minutes by car from the chalet.
People who stay here generally ski at either there, or one of the many ski lifts of nearby Morzine.
Morzine is a thriving ski-hub enjoying more and more popularity each season.
With quick transit via Telecabin from Morzine to Avoriaz, you can access the Portes-du-Soleil with it's 650km of piste and great off-piste. You can also easily access the Nyon and Le Pleney ski lifts leading over to the Les Gets resort area.
Closer to the Chalet are two smaller ski-areas - Le Grande Terche, which is 10 minutes by car and has a good selection of pistes, and Col du Corbier, which is also 10 minutes by car but in the other direction.
Col du Corbier leads to the Chatel resort.
Staying at Chalet Lisborg as self-catered, we do recommend you have your own transport.
Le Biot is located 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva Airport where there are many rental car companies.
Alternatively we can organise private transfers for guests.
The Chalet changes over on Saturdays during season.

Apartment Montreuil is spread over the top two floors of Chalet Lisborg.
The main floor is a modern, spacious open-plan area with comfortable couches and plenty of entertainment.
The upper floor is divided into four bedrooms.
Bedrooms 1 and 2 have double beds and roomy en suite bathrooms with full-size baths, shower and WC.
Bedroom 3 has Twin beds and a brand new and comfortable double sofa-bed. This room has a shower en suite bathroom with shower, WC and wash-stand.
Bedroom 4 has bunk beds and another new double sofa bed. This room has a bath en suite with full size bath with shower above, WC and wash-stand

The Kitchen facilities are new and of a very high standard as befits the property.
The Kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, microwave, 4 hobs and a dishwasher.
Half-way between the Chalet and the ski-fields, there is a large (10-12 aisle) supermarket for all your supplies.

Apartment Arras is the ground floor of Chalet Lisborg, with open French doors to the garden from almost every room.
The downstairs also has 3 bedooms.
Bedrooms 1 and 2 and 3 are spread across the front of the property and are all double bedrooms with full shower en suite bathrooms, and access via French-doors to the garden.
Bedroom 4 is a perfect room for children or singles, having both bunk beds and a new sofa-bed

The Kitchen facilities are new and of a very high standard as befits the property.
