Les Pommiers

If there were only two things that a guest could list as the most important for selecting a ski holiday, they would without doubt be proximity to good skiing, and excellent food. Chalet Les Pommiers delightfully has both. With an ideal location just two minutes walk from the Le Pleney ski-lift and cuisine prepared by one of the most experienced personal chefs in the valley, this is one holiday where the two most important things are definitely taken care of.

Chalet Les Pommiers has a fire-lit common area on the main floor, where you can relax in the comfortable lounge between courses without being removed from the conversation at the dining table. There is a decked area outside with sun-loungers and surrounded by a hedge for privacy, which makes the perfect spot to relax in the sun after your day's activity.

Chalet Les Pommiers has four bedrooms and a children's bunk room. Two twin rooms are on the lower floor and share the family shower room. The remaining three rooms are on the upper level with broad under-eave windows and skylights. The upper level rooms share the family bathroom on that level.

A very personable chef

The chef who will be serving you in Les Pommiers has a well-earned reputation in this valley for the exceptional quality of her food. Selecting only natural ingredients, many of which may come from her own gardens in the valley, she customises her menu each week to the nature and tastes of her guests. Beginning with breakfasts, a healthy and natural selection of cereals, fruits, yoghurts and if desired continental meats and cheeses as well, she adds a cooked dish from her kitchen every morning. Following up your return, there is always an après-ski buffet, which is sometimes home-made cakes and biscuits and sometimes home-made bread, cheeses and home-made jams.

But the real treat is the evening meal. Over the course of your week, your chef will take you on a culinary journey with her, as she shows you again and again how good food can get. You will discover new ways of enjoying your senses of taste and smell as as she caters to your daily individual preferences, and also governs the week as a whole learning what you like and catering her meals to ensure you get the most of your week. The evening meals are 3 courses with a fourth cheese course after, complemented with a wine selected to match by your chef.

Gourmet Upgrade Available

A cuisine upgrade is available, which adds an additional course and gives you a chance to sample some of the finer wines in the extensive wine cellar. With the gourmet upgrade, an extra course is added to the evening meals, and champagne and canapés are served before every evening meal.

Amazing Proximity to Piste

Chalet Les Pommiers is located on one of the side roads immediately behind the Le Pleney lifts. At the end of the road is the Piou Piou kids ski-club, making this location even more ideal for families with children. It would take less than 2 minutes to walk to the ski-lifts, or alternatively for a change you could walk to the Super-Morzine lift in approximately 5 minutes.

Chalet les Pommiers is just 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva airport. Transfers to and from the airport are not included in the price, but can be happily arranged by the operator.

Chalet Les Pommiers changes over on Sundays during season. In non-peak periods, it is available for short-breaks.
