Chalet L'Alpin
An unique combination of the old structure and the new forms this Alpine Chalet in the heart of Morzine.
Just minutes walk into town to restaurants, bars and the ski-lifts of Le Pleney and Super-Morzine, Chalet L'Alpin is now taking bookings for your Ski Holiday in it's first season as a new structure.
Please note - Chalet L'Alpin is now in the final stages of completion and finishing for the season.
New photographs will be taken as soon as the furniture has been delivered and the rooms appropriately prepared for viewing.
This chalet development is a unique combination of the old and the new, right in the heart of Morzine.
An existing old-wood Mazot structure, which now makes up the rear two bedrooms of Chalet L'Alpin was built onto and then seamlessly joined to a brand new structure now facing the mountains in the space that was in front of the Mazot.
During the process, the two buildings became connected by a walkway and this walkway encased in glass.
What we have now is a wonderful new-build Chalet at the fore and a charming Mazot at the rear, available for either self-catering or catered let for Winter 2008/2009.
Unlike most designs, the builders of Chalet L'Alpin elected to put the common areas on the top floor.
This means that the high-ceilinged space at the top of the house becomes a multi-level entertaining area, and at the same time makes the most of the Chalet's position and views with a huge wall of glass facing the valley.
Lit and warmed by a log-fire, this wonderful room will be the heart of the house, equipped with electronics and furnished generously for you to enjoy the view from this unique perch.
Old bedrooms made new
Chalet L'Alpin's two halves are both entirely furnished with everything new, from walls to floors to furniture.
All the bedrooms have new flexible beds with twin or double easily possible, and with brand new tiled en suite bathrooms that won't fail to delight.
Catering or Self-Catering, your choice
Chalet L'Alpin is sold as either self-catering for a fixed price per week, or as a fully catered chalet with all the trimmings.
If you opt for catered, your cooked breakfast will be prepared in the Chalet by your own chef in the morning, and they will have a light afternoon tea waiting for you when you return from the slopes.
Later when you've had time to unwind, a four course meal will be served in the Chalet's dining room, served at your own pace and with wine.
Children's meals or special dietary requirements can easily be accommodated by the charming hosts.
Walk in to your skiing or restaurant
Chalet L'Alpin is located just 12 minutes walking distance from the centre of Morzine.
The free "Navatte" ski-bus stops almost directly outside the Chalet for an even quicker egress.
Chalet L'Alpin is just 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva airport. Transfers to and from the airport are not included in the price, but can be arranged by ChaletBook staff.
Chalet L'Alpin changes over on Saturdays during season.
