La Desmeuniere
A wonderful farmhouse renovated to become a lovely Ski Chalet, set on the bank of the River Dranse in Morzine, with a hot tub outside to enjoy the setting.
It has 7 lovely en-suite bedrooms, sauna, log fire, spacious living area with balcony and mezzanine, a wealth of traditional features combined with modern comforts.
This ambient 200-year old farmhouse offers a lovely warmth to guests who come to stay beside the river.
With lots of bedrooms, and large common areas, it particularly suits large groups of individuals or mixed families who need that extra space to be comfortable.
La Desmeuniere is a picturesque traditional farmhouse set on the bank of a mountain river. Local artisans used traditional methods to restore and enhance this wonderful building, giving the whole place a wonderful sense of ambience. The recently added modern fittings add a touch of comfort. A gorgeous modern log fire warms the centre of the main room, where you can enjoy the view out across the river as your chef prepares your meals.
For entertainment, La Desmeuniere has a comfortable seating area with TV and electronics, but our guests are more likely to be found enjoying the view outside from the hot tub, or soothing their muscles in the sauna.
Traditional Chalet Catering
Chalet La Desmeuniere offers half-board to guests.
Your day begins with a cooked and continental breakfast, featuring the constant presence of cereals, yoghurts and fruits, and with a different cooked item each day.
After you return from the slopes, an après ski repast will be served, usually sweets such as home-made cakes, but sometimes savoury if that's the preference of the group.
The evening meal is four courses of mixed international flavours, prepared in the chalet by your charming chalet host and served with wine.
A children's supper can be served before the main meal if you want to get the kids sorted out before you relax with your meal.
Special dietary requirements or preferences are happily accommodated.
Rapid Start to the day's ski
La Desmeuniere is located on the road to the Prodaines cable car and new chair lifts, and lifts are provided to the lifts in the morning.
What this means is that your day's ski starts off very quickly, with no time wasted in travelling to where you want to ski.
The free "navette" ski-bus trundles past the chalet every 15 minutes or so during the day, so late-starters or people wanting to finish early are also accommodated.
For night-life or shopping, La Desmeuniere is located just 12 minutes walking distance from the resort centre.
La Desmeuniere changes over on Sundays. Please enquire about "Whole Chalet" pricing for larger groups.

Special Conditions and Applicable Discounts
- Child Price: There is a 50% discount for children under 12.
- Infant Price: Infants under 2 are flat fee of £100 and a cot will be provided.
- Whole Chalet Price: The price for exclusive use is 14 adults which allows up to 15 guests. Guests after this are charged at 50% normal adult rate.
- Single-Person Supplement: There is a single-person supplement of 30% of the adult rate for 1 person occupying a double room.
