La Buissoniere
Crafted from local stone and wood in keeping with the manner used for centuries is this traditional Ski Chalet in the elevated Barns area of Montriond.
La Buissoniere features seven flexible bedrooms, hot-tub, sauna and two separate areas for you to spend the evening in - both lit with beautiful log-fires.

Crafted with local building supplies and in the same manner as it would have been years ago, the interior has an ambient charm that dwarfs lesser structures.
With a large and well spread living area, the Chalet is ideal for large groups and mixed size families.
It also has a company with 15 years experience of making guests welcome in the valley behind it, so you can trust that your holiday will run smoothly.
La Buissoniere's location on the hill of Montriond gives it a commanding view across the valley, and an ideal location to relax and get away from the bustle of the township.
Every day, your chalet hosts will deliver you to the Ardent telecabine and pick you up again afterwards, giving you the best location to start right in the centre of the Portes du Soleil.
They will then collect you again from the lifts at the end of your ski, and a driver is on call all day for those last minute changes of plans.
The main floor of La Buissoniere is open plan from the kitchen at one end to the log-fire warmed lounge at the other.
The whole floor benefits from large windows for you to enjoy this chalet's position perched here high in the Alps.
Space to entertain
Downstairs you will find the entertainments for young and old, starting with a large and modern indoor hot-tub and a sauna immediately next to it.
But the real treat downstairs is the massive games room.
The room is sufficiently large that a pool-table, table-tennis table, and table-soccer game all disappear into it's size.
It's also independently warmed by a second log fire, and even has a dress-up chest for the children.
La Buissoniere has seven uniquely named en suite bedrooms spread over the three levels.
All of the bedrooms are well-presented with modern en suites and fittings.
The upstairs bedrooms are particularly larger than to be expected and thus can happily accommodate more than their normal allotment in the case of larger groups.
Traditional Chalet Catering
La Buissoniere offers half-board to guests.
Your day begins with a cooked and continental breakfast, featuring the constant presence of cereals, yoghurts and fruits, and with a different cooked item each day.
After you return from the slopes, an après ski repast will be served, usually sweets such as home-made cakes, but sometimes savoury if that's the preference of the group.
The evening meal is four courses of mixed international flavours, prepared in the chalet by your charming chalet host and served with wine.
A children's supper can be served before the main meal if you want to get the kids sorted out before you relax with your meal.
Special dietary requirements or preferences are happily accommodated.
Perched Above Montriond
La Buissoniere is located in the "Barns" area of Montriond.
This section enjoys a higher elevation and thus amazing views from the many windows of the Chalet.
This also places it very conveniently for Ardent ski-lift, where you can easily depart the usual trails and head off into the Suisse resorts.
From Ardent it's much easier to make the absolute most of the Portes-du-Soleil, and the skiing is of varied difficulty.
Daily mini-bus transfers are provided to and from the slopes, and a minibus remains on-call during the day.
La Buissoniere is just 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva airport. Transfers to and from the airport can be happily arranged.
La Buissoniere changes over on Saturdays during season.

- Infant Price: Infants under 2 are flat fee of £100 and a cot will be provided.
- Whole Chalet Price: The price for exclusive use is 14 adults which allows up to 15 guests. Guests above this are charged at 50% of the adult rate.
- Single-Person Supplement: There is a single-person supplement of 30% of the adult rate for 1 person occupying a double room.
