La Beziere

The operators or La Beziere have several years experience of playing host and happily offer a free of charge ski-guiding service to their guests. This allows them the chance to show you the very best parts of the massive Portes-du-Soleil area and make this year's holiday experience one you won't forget.

Of equal important to the hosts is the food that you're served in this catered chalet. The chalet operator has a reputation for employing staff with a level of experience above what would normally be expected of a chalet holiday. As a result of this policy, your food in La Beziere will be prepared by a fully qualified chef. For a discerning guest, this means that the food is generally excellent and surprisingly different. Your day begins with an extensive continental and cooked breakfast, a healthy start to a day of exercise. Après-ski is laid out by the log fire as you arrive back at the chalet, followed by a lavish four-course evening meal. An example menu is available on request.

The meals are served with good quality bottled wines from a selection made pre-season of local french and new world choices. The dinner is completed with coffee and chocolates. Vegetarians and special dietary requirements are happily accommodated, and children's supper can be served earlier if that's the preference of the group. There is one staff day off during a normal 7-day stay and we will happily make reservations for you at a local restaurant for the evening meal. Breakfast and après-ski are still provided on the day off.

Chalet La Beziere has five individual quirky bedrooms, each shaped out of the old farmhouse when it was renovated. There are a variety of shapes and sizes to suit all sort of groups and to combine multiple family units under the one roof. Every room has comfortable beds and good quality linen with ample storage.

Chalet La Beziere is located on the road that heads towards the Avoriaz plateau as you head out of the centre of Morzine. This puts it in an excellent position for rapid transport to the slopes each morning and evening. Private mini-bus transfers to and from the slopes are provided each day. For those wishing a more relaxed start to the day, the local "navette" ski bus stops directly outside.

The chalet is located 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva Airport where there are many rental car companies. Alternatively we can organise private transfers for guests.

La Beziere changes over on Saturdays during the winter season.
