Chalet Julien
Chalet Julien is a wonderfully renovated Ski Chalet perched above the friendly town of Saint-Jean-d'Aulps and close to the Grande Terche lifts and nearby ski hub of Morzine.
Maintained at a very high standard, this ski Chalet features a beautiful secluded location, with hot tub, steam room and five well appointed bedrooms, each of which has a flatscreen TV and it's own immaculate bathroom.
The Chalet Hosts are experienced locals with a focus on making your ski holiday as comfortable as possible.
From £375 to £625 for a 7-day stay in this lovely chalet, with everything taken care of. Prices include transfers from Geneva airport, and daily slope transfers as well, so you get the best of everything - tranquil location and easy access to your favourite ski area!.
Located on a relatively isolated patch of mountainside, Chalet Julien contains everything you need for a Chalet Holiday, giving you no reason to ever want to leave! Decorated in keeping with the age of the property, but with all new interior, it's an oasis of modern comforts. The Grande Terche resort area is approximately 5-10 minutes walk away and features a selection of local and friendly bars and restaurants for an after dinner walk and drink.
Finished with no expense spared it has wonderfully comfortable rooms, and two common areas, so you can sequester the children into the upstairs TV room while you enjoy sipping your hot wine around the log fire. A brand new hot tub is on the terrace outside, allowing you to sit in bubbling warmth while the snow falls around you, and a steam room is inside to soothe your muscles after a long day skiing.
Chalet Julien has five themed bedrooms. The three rooms on the top floor feature en-suite bathrooms, two with full sized baths and one with a shower. The Red room also has a mezzanine level above it, with two additional single beds - perfect for a family. The two rooms on the main floor have their own bathrooms adjoining. All the rooms except the Green Room feature "zip-together" double beds that can be easily separated into two separate single beds if required. All the rooms feature a flatscreen television and integrated audio system. All the linen is beautiful Egyptian cotton, and all the towels are fluffy Turkish cotton. Further, the hosts provide exclusive Molton Brown toiletries for your use, such as shower gels, soaps and shampoos.
Chalet Julien is sold as catered, and priced per person, welcoming groups large and small at the big family table. A cooked breakfast is provided, along with all the usual continental trimmings, and an afternoon tea will be ready for you when you return from the slopes. Later, a 4-course evening meal is provided at your leisure at the big family dining table, and children's tea is provided if that is your preference.
Chalet Julien features five well appointed bedrooms, each with it's own theme and decorated impeccably by the chalet matron. They all have their own bathrooms, three with baths and two with showers.
People staying at Chalet Julien usually ski at Morzine. Morzine is a thriving ski-hub enjoying more and more popularity each season. With quick access via Telecabin from Morzine to Avoriaz, you can access the Portes-du-Soleil with it's 650km of piste and great off-piste. You can also easily access the Nyon and Le Pleney ski lifts leading over to the Les Gets resort area.
Chalet Julien is located in Saint-Jean-d'Aulps, approximately 10-15 minutes drive from the centre of Morzine where numerous bars and entertainments can be found. Daily slope-transfer lifts are provided.
Chalet Julien is just 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva airport. Transfers to and from the airport are included in the price.
Chalet Julien changes over on Sundays during the winter season.
Chalet Julien is always available for small group bookings. The prices below are per-person, but the Whole Chalet can be booked for a sole-occupancy price, available on asking. For children under 2, the price is £50 per 7-day stay. For children 2-5 years, the price is 50% discounted. For children 6-12 years, the price is 25% discounted. A single person supplement of £150 per room is charged.
