Chalet JoJo
Built in the shadow of the Abbey d'Aulps is this lovely farmhouse, now a warm and welcoming home-away from home Chalet for your Ski Holiday.
Owner-operated, it's drawcards include ample home-cooked meals of traditional English and French fare, and an excellent choice of starting point for your daily ski in the nearby Portes-du-Soleil.
With affordable prices and thoroughly enjoyable cuisine, this chalet offers great value for money.
Now available in Saint-Jean-d'Aulps is Chalet JoJo, a warm and welcoming home away from home in the French Alps.
Open to guests and families for many years, the hostess has a great deal of experience in making your holiday as relaxing and hassle-free as possible.
The main floor of Chalet JoJo is open plan from the cook's kitchen at one end to the comfortable lounge at the other.
Lit and warmed by a log-fire all winter, it's a welcoming space full of board games, books, and entertainments including wi-fi throughout.
Upstairs there is a second snug lounge area, with television - which is perfect for a recovery nap in front of the television or for giving the children their own space.
Flexible Accommodation
Chalet JoJo has five bedrooms over it's two main floors.
The main floor bedrooms are the largest and would happily accommodate the family groups. Each has bunk-beds in addition to a comfortable twin or double bed.
The upstairs bedrooms adjoin the TV lounge, and each can be made up as either twin or double.
Hearty Home-made foods
The cuisine in Chalet JoJo is served buffet style, with enormous well-filled dishes being placed in the centre of the table every meal.
This simple, homely touch exemplifies the chalet's attitude towards the food served - there is always plenty!
The dishes range from the traditional English meals to traditional French meals and for six evenings you will be offered more delicious food than you can possibly want
Breakfasts are contintental and cooked, and the après-ski selection is always home-made.
Not just for the adults
A mother herself, the chef and host goes out of her way to make children feel at home, and this is never more evident than at meal time.
While you relax by the fire with a glass of mulled wine, your children can enjoy their own sitting at the big table and on certain occasions make pizzas or other fun foods with the hostess.
Once they're fed and content, you can settle in yourself for your own meal in peace.
Ski where you want to, every day
Chalet JoJo is located in Saint-Jean-d'Aulps, approximately 10-15 minutes drive from the centre of Morzine where numerous bars and entertainments can be found.
Daily slope-transfer lifts are provided.
The most convenient accessible lift is Ardent/Les Lindarets which is 10 minutes by car from the chalet.
People who stay here generally ski at either there, or one of the many ski lifts of nearby Morzine.
Morzine is a thriving ski-hub enjoying more and more popularity each season.
With quick transit via Telecabin from Morzine to Avoriaz, you can access the Portes-du-Soleil with it's 650km of piste and great off-piste.
You can also easily access the Nyon and Le Pleney ski lifts leading over to the Les Gets resort area.
Chalet JoJo is just 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva airport. Transfers to and from the airport can be happily arranged.
Chalet JoJo changes over on Saturdays during season.
During off-peak months, it is available for short-breaks and long-weekends, please ask for pricing.

- Check In/Out: Check in is after 4pm. Check-out is before 10am.
- Included: Included in the rental is linen, towels, and cleaning on Chalet JoJo.
- Child Rates: Children under 14 enjoy a discount of €100.
- Infant Rates: Children under 4 are free. A cot, child seat and high chair will be provided.
- Whole Chalet Price: There is a whole chalet price available for each week for up to 14 people. However we recommend 12 for comfort.
- Short-Breaks:Short-breaks are welcomed in January, from as little as £70pppn.
