Chalet Etoile Filante

Chalet Etoile Filante has a large fire-lit common area with plenty of seating on both sides of an L-shaped room. This allows for more than one centre of conversation in the evenings, so that everyone can make themselves comfortable. There is a flat-screen Television with british TV choices, and also an X-box and Wii console for entertainment. A selection of board games, books and movies is also available. On the terrace outside the chalet is a brand new 6 person hot-tub to soak away the aches and pains of your daily exertions.

Chalet Etoile Filante has seven en suite bedrooms, all of which are equipped with new comfortable beds which can either be zipped together to form a real double bed, or separated to form two distinct single beds. Every room has immediate access to an en suite, there are no shared facilities here. Spread across the bottom floor and the top floor of the chalet, the accommodation can easily be separated so that two different family groups can both enjoy privacy. Each bedroom is fitted with eqyptian cotton sheets, and all guests are provided with towels, robes and slippers.

Chalet Etoile Filante is offered for catered chalet holidays. Your special service begins with a hearty breakfast featuring the complete selection of options. This includes cooked items each day such as bacon and eggs, sausages and hash-browns, as well as fresh pastries, yoghurt, toasts, porridge, fruit and cereals. After your day on the snow, you will be welcomed by an afternoon tea by the log fire. Following that the 4-course evening meal will be served in the dining room, with a selection of wines. Chalet Etoile Filante pays special attention to the wine, having it special selected and shipped pre-season by an experienced taster. Following the evening meal, port and cheese will be served. There is one day of the week in which evening meal service is not included, and you will be spoilt for choice for restaurants in Morzine.

Chalet Etoile Filante is located in Montriond, the small village attached to and immediately above the popular ski resort of Morzine. This allows very quick access to either the Ardent telecabin which accesses both the swiss and french sides of Portes-du-Soleil, or to the Super-Morzine telecabine, which leads directly to the Morzine-Avoriaz resort plateau. Private mini-bus transfers from the door of the chalet are included every day.

The chalet is located 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva Airport where there are many rental car companies. Alternatively we can organise private transfers for guests
