Chalet Eira

Chalet Eira is a custom built ski chalet, perched above the town hall of Morzine just 200m on foot from the Mairie and Church that denotes the old town centre of Morzine. With hot-tub, spacious catered rooms, beautiful views and a well regarded chef, it combines the charm of a small owner-run chalet with the facilities and size of a much larger establishment.

Chalet Eira has a large dining room, with all around views of the beautiful countryside to enjoy while you're eating. Upstairs is a comfortable bar area where you can spend the evenings, with pool-table and entertainment including live-band (usually once per week). There is a hot-tub on the ground floor for after ski soaking and a beautiful sun terrace to enjoy if you take a day off the slopes.

Flexible and tasteful rooms

The rooms in Chalet Eira are quiet, being removed from the main road by distance and elevation. The ground-floor rooms have terrace access and many of the upper rooms have balconies. Each room is furnished with quality beds, and there are a flexible number of both double and twin rooms so that any group can be accommodated easily.

Traditional Chalet meals

Chalet Eira offers half-board to guests. Your day begins with a continental breakfast, featuring the constant presence of cereals, yoghurts and fruits, and with a different cooked item each day. After you return from the slopes, an après-ski repast of cakes and biscuits is available. The evening meal is four courses of mixed international flavours, prepared in the chalet by your fully qualified chef and served with your choice of 3-4 bottled wines.

Children's supper is served before the main meal to get the kids sorted out before you relax with your meal. Special dietary requirements or preferences are happily accommodated. The chalet staff day off is usually Wednesday and staff are available to assist you in making reservations in local restaurants for that evening.

Close to everything

There are four ski-bus stops within 1 minutes walk of this property from which people staying here can easily ski from one of the many lifts on either side of Morzine. Morzine is a thriving ski-hub enjoying more and more popularity each season. With quick access via Telecabin from Morzine to Avoriaz, you can access the Portes-du-Soleil with it's 650km of piste and great off-piste. You can also easily access the Nyon and Le Pleney ski lifts leading over to the Les Gets resort area.

The chalet is located 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva Airport where there are many rental car companies. Alternatively we can organise private transfers for guests. The bus-stop for long-distance buses from Geneva is just a few minutes walk down the road.

The chalet changes over on Sundays during season, but is available for short-breaks in non-peak weeks.
