Chalet Boheme

It is rare for a small family run company to be regarded as highly for their cuisine as for their welcome. But over the years of operation, this Chalet has attracted a reputation for both of those things. A friendly village combined with top class food and wine, and an attitude where nothing is too much trouble results in a memorable stay.

The tasteful and warm common area of Chalet Boheme stretches along the rear of the property to make the most of the river view. An ample dining table leads to two separated lounge areas, with TV in one of the spaces and log-fire in the other. The bar dominates the end of the room where you can have enjoy drinks all week. The full length of the room opens to the terrace and around the side you will find the hot-tub, positioned to enjoy the view.

Accommodation

Chalet Boheme has four en suite bedrooms occupying the upper floor of the chalet. Each room is tastefully decorated and private. Some of the bedrooms have access to balconies so you can take your morning coffee with a breath of fresh mountain air.

Exceptional Cuisine

A full breakfast is served each morning, to prepare you for your day's ski, including fruit, orange juice, pastries yoghurts and cereals, as well as a selection of cooked foods different each day. Typically this is something like Eggs Benedict one morning, followed by pancakes the next. Afternoon tea is served in front of the log fire when you return from the slopes to warm you up as well.

Sumptuous 6-courses

The 6-course evening meal is a lot more than you would generally expect from a Chalet. The experienced and charming Chef prepares the meals in the kitchen directly beside the dining table. The meal begins with canapés and a palate-cleanser, then treats you to a delicious starter and then the main course. The meal is concluded with hand-made desserts and a cheese course. The entire meal is served with an excellent selection of three red and three white wines and the honesty bar remains open for you each evening.

Access to all the Portes-du-Soleil

The closest ski-lift is the Grande Terche resort, above the Chalet and within a 2 minute drive. However, the recommended lift is Ardent/Les Lindarets which is 10 minutes by car from the chalet. People who stay here generally ski at either there, or one of the many ski lifts of nearby Morzine. Morzine is a thriving ski-hub enjoying more and more popularity each season. With quick transit via Telecabin from Morzine to Avoriaz, you can access the Portes-du-Soleil with it's 650km of piste and great off-piste. You can also easily access the Nyon and Le Pleney ski lifts leading over to the Les Gets resort area.

Daily minibus piste transfers are provided to all guests.

Short airport transfer

Chalet Boheme is just 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva airport. Transfers to and from the airport can be happily arranged by the operator for a fixed fee.

Chalet Boheme changes over on Saturdays. Short-breaks are welcomed during non-peak periods where availability allows.
