Chalet Andu

Chalet Andu is a beautiful chalet situated 5-6 minutes drive from Morzine, on the edge of Essert Romand and conveniently located for access to the Ardent Telecabine, Avoriaz and Les Gets pistes. The location allows easy access to the Portes du Soleil, one of the largest ski areas in the world.

The common area of Chalet is an open plan area stretching from the dining room (seating for 14-18) to a lovely fire-side salon. To one side is the bar, with full bar facilities including beer on tap. There is a supply of games for children and adults alike.

Outside, accessed via the terrace and shared with the chalet's apartments is the gated hot-tub, plunge pool area and sauna. The sauna is always pre-heated for your arrival back from the slopes, and the pool available at the same time.

Restaurant standards

Chalet Andu is sold as half-board. Your day begins with a continental breakfast accompanied by a cooked dish prepared by your charming hosts. In the evening you will be served a freshly prepared, home-cooked meal by your chef (who is also a local restauranteur). The bar remains open in the evening for your refreshment.

The atmosphere is friendly and informal, with an average of 15 - 25 guests in the winter. The chalet can comfortably accommodate up to 34 people if the self-catered apartments are also used. Relax with friends around an open log fire after a delicious dinner prepared from fresh local produce by your hosts.

Six minutes from the Le Pleney piste

The chalet is located in the village of Essert-Romand, adjacent the Morzine resort. People staying at Chalet Andu usually ski at Morzine. Morzine is a thriving ski-hub enjoying more and more popularity each season. With quick access via Telecabin from Morzine to Avoriaz, you can access the Portes-du-Soleil with it's 650km of piste and great off-piste. You can also easily access the Nyon and Le Pleney ski lifts leading over to the Les Gets resort area. Chalet Andu also has easy access via La Côte-d'Arbroz to the Les Gets and Mont-Cheri pistes.

The chalet is located 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva Airport where there are many rental car companies. Alternatively we can organise private transfers for guests.
