Le National is a lovely Chalet-Hotel built in the lively centre of the village of St Jean d'Aulps, in the heart of the Vallee d'Aulps. The apartments for rent are located close to all facilities, including small shops, tourist office, fromagerie and a quiet local bar which also serves excellent pizza. Within a minute walking distance there is also a patisserie, paper-shop, ski-hire and clothing store and a variety of restaurants. Both apartments are lovingly and uniquely decorated with all the comforts of home. Full kitchen facilities including dishwasher can be found in the apartments, details of specifics to be found below.

The closest ski-lift is the Grande Terche resort, above the Chalet and within a 2 minute drive. However, the recommended lift is Ardent/Les Lindarets which is 10 minutes by car from the chalet. People who stay here generally ski at either there, or one of the many ski lifts of nearby Morzine. Morzine is a thriving ski-hub enjoying more and more popularity each season. With quick transit via Telecabin from Morzine to Avoriaz, you can access the Portes-du-Soleil with it's 650km of piste and great off-piste. You can also easily access the Nyon and Le Pleney ski lifts leading over to the Les Gets resort area.
