Chalet Savoyarde is a chalet where quality is evident in every small detail of the accommodation and presentation. The owner-operators strive to ensure that all the small niggles that plague a regular chalet holiday are tastefully and blissfully missing from this one.
The chalet has a comfortable dining room decorated with subtlety and taste, for you to enjoy your evening meal. The lounge room invites you to relax with a big and comfortable sofa wrapping the fire-place and television. The lounge room also has a private balcony at the front for you to take fresh air - a definite necessity after traditional Savoyarde meals!
Quality is evident in every aspect of the accommodation
The feature that strikes people about Chalet Savoyarde is the attention to detail that has been paid to every featur

e of the bedrooms. Elements regularly forgotten or omitted in other accommodation are all carefully taken into hand in this chalet. For example, every room has plenty of storage, plenty of hooks for coats, and just the right amount of lighting. Similarly, every bed is a orthopedic mattress to ensure you sleep well, and then furnished with abundant high quality bedding and pillows. The bathrooms do not lack places to put toiletries or face or hand towels, and towel rails exactly where you would want them.
In short, this is a Chalet that remembers the small comforts. Evenb the kitchen in the property is fully equippied with everything you could expect to need to feed the occupancy.
Even Quicker access to the piste
Chalet Savoyarde is located on the main road to the Prodaines hamlet. This hamlet has a large cable-car leading directly to the village of Avoriaz, where you can ski at 2200-2400m when the snow has long left the rest of the alps. Also accessible and even quicker, a new series of chair lifts (red slope competency required) will lead you directly to the Arare area behind Avoriaz. There is a free navette bus passing the chalet every 15 minutes in season, and it stops almost directly outside the Chalet. The ride on the free bus to the Prodaines takes approximately 10 minutes.
Chalet Savoyarde is just 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva airport. Transfers to and from the airport are not included in the price, but can be easily arranged.
Chalet Savoyarde changes over on Saturdays during winter season (except Christmas and New Year 2010), but is available on request for short-breaks and special holiday groups. Please enquire for details and pricing.
