Chalet Sophie is a family home-away-from-home, located in the Portes-du-Soleil resort area, in the quiet hamlet of Les Onchets. Particularly welcoming to families with children, the operators will strive to ensure that your stay is as relaxing as possible by taking care of everything.
The main common area of the chalet has been recently renovated to open it up the magnificent views. It now combines traditional features like solid old wood and a real log fire with a crisp modern decor.

The four guest bedrooms in Chalet Sophie have all been recently renovated to a high, modern standard. All the guest bedrooms are located on the upper floors, ensuring your privacy during your stay.
Hearty Chalet Catering
Chalet Sophie offers half-board to guests. Your day begins with a buffet-style continental breakfast, featuring the constant presence of cereals, yoghurts and fruits, and with a assorted juices and freshly brewed coffee. There is one hot item per day, which changes from day to day. After you return from the slopes, an afternoon tea will be served, usually sweets such as home-made cakes. The evening meal is four courses of traditional French and modern international flavours, prepared in the chalet by your charming chalet hostess and served with wine.
650km of piste awaits
The closest ski-lift is the Grande Terche resort, which you can see from the chalet and within a short drive. However, the recommended lift is Ardent/Les Lindarets which is around 15 minutes by car from the chalet. People who stay here generally ski at either there, or one of the many ski lifts of nearby Morzine. Morzine is a thriving ski-hub enjoying more and more popularity each season. With quick transit via Telecabin from Morzine to Avoriaz, you can access the Portes-du-Soleil with it's 650km of piste and great off-piste. You can also easily access the Nyon and Le Pleney ski lifts leading over to the Les Gets resort area. Courtesy daily minibus transfers to piste are provided to all guests. Airport transfers are available on request.
Chalet Sophie is just 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva airport. Transfers to and from the airport can be happily arranged by the operator for a fixed fee.
