Chalet Roxy was constructed by a local artisan and his team to meet the need for more high quality accommodation in Morzine. Designed purely with hoildays in mind, the bedrooms are spacious and very well appointed, and the common areas lend themselves to all kind of activities in the evening.
The common area of Chalet Roxy is laid out over two levels. On the ground floor is the projector cinema room, with surround sound built in, and various console games. You can either enjoy your favourite movie in an ideal environment, or challenge your friends to a game on the Wii. Upstairs, the fire-lit lounge/dining area leads out to a huge terrace with view, which overlooks the swimming pool. You can sip your wine while your family and friends are battered by the high powered wave jets, or step past them to sink into the hot-tub's embrace.
Impeccable Finish
Chalet Roxy's bedrooms have all been finished to a very high, modern standard. Almost all the rooms have access to a terrace or balcony, from which you can enjoy the view over Morzine, and every bathroom is a crisp clean oasis of tiles.
The tastes of the Alps
Chalet Roxy is a catered chalet specialising in serving local specialities or other carefully chosen menus. The day begins with a hearty breakfast with all the breakfast faire you could want, including pastries, yoghurt, porridges and fresh fruits. Each day also includes a different cooked breakfast, varying from Eggs Benedict, to scrambled eggs with smoked salmon. Upon your return from skiing, you will welcome by an afternoon tea in front of the real log fire. The evening meal that follows is 4 courses served with a selection of fine wines, and includes a decadent cheese and port course. The meal is followed by coffee and chocolates, or a drink from the bar.
Avoriaz just at the end of the road
Chalet Roxy is located on the road to the Prodaines cable car and new chair lifts, and lifts are provided to the lifts in the morning. What this means is that your day's ski starts off very quickly, with no time wasted in travelling to where you want to ski. The free "navette" ski-bus trundles past the chalet every 15 minutes or so during the day, so late-starters or people wanting to finish early are also accommodated. For night-life or shopping, Chalet Roxy is located just 12 minutes walking distance from the resort centre.
The chalet is located 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva Airport where there are many rental car companies. Alternatively we can organise private transfers for guests.
