Chalet la Moussière is a beautiful chalet laid out over multiple levels sitting on a traditional French village square of the same name. Each room has been lovingly decorated and updated, providing flexible rooms for any size of family or group. The interior features tasteful, traditional decor with numerous home touches that allow you to settle comfortably in. Externally, the chalet is a traditional construction carefully maintained by the owners.
The chalet has a fire-lit lounge adjacent the dining area where you will enjoy your meals. The bar is next to this area, and has it's own seating, giving multiple areas to enjoy your stay in this big chalet. Accessed from the middle (bedroom) floor is the Sauna and outdoor Hot-Tub, and there is a large terrace with outdoor seating if the weather is kind.
Flexible Accommodation
Chalet la Moussière has five en suite bedrooms on the lower two levels. Many of the rooms have flexible bed arrangements and can be changed or moved around to accommodate different size groups, or groups not fitting the standard configuration. There is ample storage in each bedroom for you to unpack properly for the duration of your stay. The en suites are clean and equipped with quality, traditional style fittings.
Traditional Catering
The catering provided in Chalet la Moussière is traditional chalet holiday catering. Your day begins with a cooked and continental breakfast, exactly what you need for a day of activity on the slopes. Returning, you will be greeted with an après-ski repast to enjoy while you take your time in the hot-tub. The evening meal is a four course meal prepared by your food-loving chalet hosts, and finished off with your choice of coffees or teas. The meal is accompanied by liberal quantities of a specially selected French Merlot, or Vin de Savoie.
Access to all the Portes-du-Soleil
The closest ski-lift is the Grande Terche resort, above the Chalet and within a 2 minute drive. However, the recommended lift is Ardent/Les Lindarets which is 10 minutes by car from the chalet. People who stay here generally ski at either there, or one of the many ski lifts of nearby Morzine. Morzine is a thriving ski-hub enjoying more and more popularity each season. With quick transit via Telecabin from Morzine to Avoriaz, you can access the Portes-du-Soleil with it's 650km of piste and great off-piste. You can also easily access the Nyon and Le Pleney ski lifts leading over to the Les Gets resort area.
Courtesy minibus transfers are provided to all guests who use the operator's airport transfer service. These transfers can also be provided to guests who are self-drive, for a fixed nominal charge.
Chalet la Moussière is just 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva airport. Transfers to and from the airport can be happily arranged by the operator for a fixed fee.
