New operator and infamous styling
Recently handed over to new operators, this lovely Chalet-Hotel is anticipating a renewed popularity for the coming season. Redecoration currently underway will bring the appointments of the chalet up to a modern standard while retaining it's infamously trendy 70's styling.
Ski-in, walk to bars
Located directly beneath the Pleney-B piste, it is possible to ski-back to the Chalet without difficulty and the charming operators will be happy to show you the way. It's location makes it ideal for holiday-makers wanting to sample Morzine's abundant night-life, as the Chalet-Hotel is just a few minutes walk to the centre of town (and the Le Pleney gondola).
The bar and restaurant area of La Renardiére looks out over the pool (not in use in Winter) to the dominating skyline of Mount Nyon. Decorating in a combination of retro-chic and Savoyard styles, it's a unique and comfortable place to be served your meals. There is also a separate TV lounge with new furnishings and a wall-mounted flat-screen TV, and further there is plenty of outdoor terrace if the weather is kind.
Flexible rooms
Chalet-Hotel La Renardiére has three floors of bedrooms with several different configurations. All the beds and all the linen have been replaced for commencement of the 2009/2010 season, with new top-quality items. There are double/twin rooms available, and larger rooms which offer a further discount when occupied at full capacity. All the rooms have clean, well finished en suite bathrooms, and many have balconies and views.
Traditional chalet catering
Chalet-Hotel La Renardiére offers half-board to guests. Your day begins with a continental breakfast, featuring the constant presence of cereals, yoghurts and fruits each day. The evening meal is three courses of mixed international flavours, prepared in the European and British health safety standard kitchen by your charming chalet chefs. Tea and Cofee making facilities are always available, and the bar is open until quite late. Very reasonably priced local bottles of wine are available with your meal.
Please note - the evening meal is served every night, there is no day off.
All the Portes-du-Soleil in reach
The Chalet-Hotel is ideally situated in terms of piste, with the Le Pleney telecabin being just 400m away, and the Super-Morzine telecabin being 500m in the other direction. Both have an ample selection of ski-schools, and provide direct ascent to the entire Portes-du-Soleil.
The apartment is located 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva Airport where there are many rental car companies. Alternatively private hotel transfers for guests can be easily arranged.
