Be made welcome in this lovely farmhouse chalet nestled amongst the barns of Morzine. Aspiring to and achieving a higher level of service is the goal of this lovely property, recently built and still evolving towards becoming a premier destination in Morzine. Experienced and qualified staff will take care of everything, making this an excellent choice for an entirely comfortable ski holiday.
The large traditional common area of Chalet Crepet extends from a farm-house kitchen at one end to a comfortable lounge at the other, with the spacious dining area in between. Seating up to 18 at capacity at these two big farmhouse tables, the food is prepared immediately adjacent so that you can enjoy watching the three staff at work preparing the wholesome meals. Alternatively, you can retire to the couches adjacent to recover between courses by the warmth of the log-fire. Outside, there is a cedar clad hot-tub in the garden terrace area, positioned to make the most of the views. To entertain in the evening, there is a flat-screen TV, and DVD player.
Comfortable Accommodation
Chalet Crepet features 8 bedrooms in total to accommodate even the largest groups of families. The front-facing bedrooms are all light and airy with great views over Morzine to the Le Pleney slope, so you can watch the torch-lit descent from the comfort of your room. Several of the bedrooms are slightly larger than they need to be, allowing them to be flexible with accommodating families with cots or extra children. The beds are all furnished with beautiful quality linens, towels and robes, and the en suites all feature excellent quality fixtures. A complimentary pack of Molton Brown toiletries is provided on arrival, and the towels are changed mid-week.
Cuisine prepared by professionals
Chalet Crepet is sold as catered, including six evening meals during a normal 7-day stay prepared by a professional Chef. A full breakfast is served each morning, to prepare you for your day's ski, including fruit, orange juice, pastries yoghurts and cereals, as well as a selection of cooked foods different each day. Afternoon tea is served in front of the log fire when you return from the slopes to warm you up as well.
Before the evening meal, you will enjoy canapés to awaken the palate for the main fare. The evening meal is exactly what you would hope for from a chalet holiday - three courses of varied Savoyarde and French influenced cuisine, prepared inhouse by your Chef. Served with a selection of wine, the meal is finished off with coffee before you retire to the bar.
Rapid Access to Ski and Airport
People staying here can easily ski from one of the many lifts on either side of Morzine. Private minibus lifts are provided to and from the slopes each day, with pickups by pre-arrangement. Morzine is a thriving ski-hub enjoying more and more popularity each season. From either side you can access the Portes-du-Soleil with it's 650km of piste and great off-piste. You can also easily access the Nyon and Le Pleney ski lifts leading over to the Les Gets resort area. There is a ski-bus that passes the chalet regularly all day in season if you wish to be independent.
The chalet is located 1 hour and 15 minutes drive from Geneva Airport where there are many rental car companies. Alternatively private transfers for guests can be arranged.
